Accounting practices affects the preparation presentation of accounts as well as financial reporting by the entity. If the differences are removed in such practices and as far as possible common practices followed then it will make the comparison easy and thus an investor can easily compare the companies from two different countries on the same basis as moreover they are made on the same accounting practices. so they compare comparable. On comparing them reasonable conclusion can be drawn that which company is better. Thus, reducing differences in accounting practices across the country makes it easier for investor to compare the companies from different countries.
