The industries which will be heavily impacted by the implementation of the 3D printing will be:

  • Art and jewelry industry: with 3D printing into market the customers would demand more of latest designs on their jewelry and even handcrafted 3 dimensional designs as art pieces to use.
  • Apparel: 3 dimensional printing have entered into fashion and clothing industry as well which influences the demand for products and also quick fluctuations in the preferences of customers.
  • Construction industry: 3D printing have helped a lot to the construction industry where they are used to generate models for buildings before the plans are actually finalized and implemented.
  • Education and Research: students can be taught to learn the technicalities and practicality of the subjects by sign 3D printing to generate models and create simulation of the real world for them to understand.
  • Heritage industry: nowadays with 3D printing even the heritage industry is affected as it is widely used for preserving and restoring old heritage objects and buildings/ monuments, thus helping in preserving the culture.
