how do I type 95000 * [1-1/(1+0.1)^25] / 0.1 in the calculator. its not coming out...

how do I type 95000 * [1-1/(1+0.1)^25] / 0.1 in the calculator. its not coming out 862318.80. I am doing this by hand and jus using an ti34 calculator.

Try:

95000 * (1 - (1.10)^(-25)) / 0.10

I don’t have ti34 calculator right now. So, maybe this will not work.

You can also try solving equation first.

Like,

95,000 * (1 - 1/(1+0.10)^25) / 0.10
95,000 * (1 - (1/1.10)^25) / 0.10
95,000 * (1 - 0.092296) / 0.10
95,000 * 0.907704 / 0.10
95,000 * 9.07704
862,318.80
