Why are borate ions particularly efficient at cross-linking polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)?
Borate ions addeda as borax to PVA weakens the OH bond due to which cross linking can take place as individual chains are made by strong covalent bonds which need to be crosslinked.
Why are borate ions particularly efficient at cross-linking polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)?
Why can't vinyl alcohols normally polymerize into polyvinyl alcohol? what happens then? Thank you in advance!
a. Make a cross-sectional diagram of a Read diode structure, labeling the dopant type and approximate concentration in each region. Why is this structure a particularly efficient IMPATT diode? b. Contrast hybrid microwave integrated circuits (MIC) with monolithic MMIC's. Give the advantages of each.
