This basic understanding is what drives most of the researches in the field of anthropology. This concept belongs to the cultural anthropology sub-field of anthropology. Universalism is really important because this concept is what helps the researches universalize their researches and for people to understand that people in this world share something in common and everyone deserves better respect and life despite their differences in terms of race, religion, language, ethnicity etc.
