Answer

When presynaptic neurons get activated ,this cause release of glutamate.Glutamate present most widely in brain and central nervous system that participate in major excitatory brain functions.

Glutamate have an important role in neural circuit as it involve in synaptic plasticity(the ability to strengthening or weakening of signaling between neurons).Glutamate is the neurotransmitter which is very fast and pass information processing in neuronal network.Glutamate receptors are available in through out the central nervous system and present in neuron and glial cell also.Glutamate also connected with  the activity of other neurotransmitter system.
