Why shouldn't Marijuana be legalized in the United States?

in US marijuana is a Schedule I drug means it has a high potential of abuse. there are many reasons why marijuana is not legalized in the united states and the following are some listed reasons.

• Clinical studies showed that if the person takes marijuana for a long time (long term effect) it will effect on the nervous system, it vanishes short-term memory, it increases the risk of heart attack, birth defects, strokes, it damage to the respiratory system and brain.
• if lawmakers legalize the marijuana it will increase the more illegal works like filling the drugs in illegal drug cartels and a black or gray market.
• marijuana is an addictive drug which affects mental function and it results in an increase in violence.
• people say that marijuana has the medical properties but most of the clinical data is mixed about benefits and risk of using marijuana.
• lawmakers of USA think if they legalize the marijuana in the state it will be easily accessible to the adolescent and that will worsen the condition.
• there are more people have arrested in the USA in marijuana-related crime as compare to other crimes and if they legalize the marijuana there will more burden on lawmaker and judiciary.
