I would choose simple structure architecture to design. Because in such a less time, this structure is feasible. This takes very less time and easy to build. There are no different spaces i.e. User space and kernel space. The overall cpu execution takes place in one single mode. Although the functionality is obsolete and has very few features, it is the only architecture which can be designed. The user can execute kernel level instructions also. There is no separate cpu execution mode.
