Genome evolution is occuring and another species of human beings will emerge. But it will take millions of years for this emergence because the rate of genome evolution is extremely slow.

Scientists claim that on the basis of use and disuse of organs and survival of the fittest and some other evolutionary forces, the new species will have the following features -

Enlarged size of brain

Small size of body

Absence of organs like vermiform appendix, pinna, tail at embryonic stage etc which are of no use

Absence of little finger and little toe
