One major environmental problem that are prominent in deserts is lack of water or dryness and high temperatures of the deserts which already is the reason why normal flora and fauna cannot survive in deserts.
However due to recent human influences resulted in global warming and a slight increase in the temperature has drastically impacted the lives of very few species of plants and animals which were earlier able to somehow cope with the extreme desert conditions making it more tough for their survival. Also activities such as firewood gathering and the grazing of animals are responsible for the conversion of semiarid regions into deserts by the process known as desertification which is increasing the desert area. Also some human communities who are living in the deserts are facing the problem of shortage of water, food and the temperatures are also making it hard for those communities to thrive and develop in such conditions making their survival a tough challenge.

One major environmental problem is pollution. Give an example of the research you think would need to be completed in order to develop workable solutions for pollution. What else, beyond scientific research, might be needed to develop sustainable solutions?
1) What are the one or two factors that causes food deserts to persist in poor areas of San Francisco Bay Area? Give examples. (Think about the root causes as well as transportation, crime, built environment , etc. Hint:- Ecological Model of Health). 2) What do you propose as a solution or fix to the problem?
What is the major difference between how humans solve problems compared to how computers solve problems? Humans search thoroughly through all possibilities using brute force while computers look for patterns and use heuristics. They are actually very similar - both humans and computers search thoroughly through all possibilities using brute force. Genetic Traits and genetic disorders are influenced in one way or another by the environment. On the other hand, the heritability of a disorder examines the variations in multifactorial traits due to genetics in a particular population and focuses on the genetic component of variations seen in a trait. Select a genetic disorder caused by a single-gene trait that is multifactorial. Explain how your chosen genetic disorder is influenced by the environment. Select two diseases—one with high heritability and one...
