If I feel the items stocked at the retail store are either obsolete or carry an expiry date that may approach shortly, thereby giving me lesser scope to preserve the same at home for a longer period, then I shall stop buying from the Store. Besides, for me, options of items available at store are also important. If I feel the retailer has the tendency to push only one or few selected kind of items to the customers owing to higher commission obtained upon those items to the retailer, then I may stop buying from that store as well. This is so because I believe I should be given a fair chance to select the items from at least the leading brands in the market and not only what the retailer wish to push for sales to us.

The way in which such a retailer could win back me as a customer would be, to become more transparent in its approach; stock items that are fresh and not nearing much to the expiry dates so that customers get more time to use the same when bought and to offer options by stocking the leading or most competitive brands in the market so that we get a fair scope to select the best out of the same.
