There are majorly three types of competency framework which are core competency, cross functional competency and functional competency.
Core competency:- This is directly related to organization strategies.This are the core areas which organization strive to achieve the competitive advantage.core comptenecy framework are key one for organization because this helps in a sustainable development and organization capability areas.The core competency framework includes decision making, integrity, planning and communciation. Organization use different training and development programs for their employees to develop such competencies.
Core competency:- This is another competency framework which has become essential because of increasing competition in the market. This comptenecy is like employees working in certain function need to generate skills in other functions too .for eg computer skills, budgeting skills etc . This helps in designing and developing organizations tk achieve future challenges.
Functional.competency:- This are required by professionals on daily basis .It is again important to know that these competencies such as marketing, operations, finance etc are on drive that quality results and also it can assured performance for different departments.
