Crimes are basically unlawful acts which may or may not harm a person and is punishable under the court of law or assigned authority.
There are different types of crimes including:-
Personal crimes-these crimes are against a person involving physical or mental harm,like,murder,rape,assault,kidnapping etc.
Property crimes-these crimes are not involving physical or mental harm to a person nut involves interference with a person's right to use property,like,robbery,forgery,embezzlement etc.
Incomplete crimes-these crimes begin but are not completed.The person attempts them but doesnt get completed,like,attempt to murder,solicitation,conspiracy etc.
Statutory crimes-these crimes involve violation of a specific state or federal statute and can involve either property offenses or personal offense,like,drunk driving,selling alcohol to a minor etc.
The person who commits the crime is already psychologically effected,i.e. he or she might be suffering from anger,depression,fear etc. which takes a toll on them making them commit crimes.
And the victim of the crime also sufferd from long term problems of depression,anxiety,and a few people have a severe, long-lasting reaction after a crime, known as post-traumatic stress disorder.Also when an individual experiences some traumatic event in their lives,they may experience intrusive thoughts that could affect their normal functioning.
