I consider Starbucks’ marketing strategy to be quite effective especially when it comes to how they implemented it and how they used current technology and trends to focus their attention to building their brand value and customer interaction at the same time.
The strategy revolves around the use of social media in order to generate the required value when it comes to marketing by the company. Starbucks’ implementation can be considered to be flawless. In terms of their ability, their use of current trends such as hilarious and clever gifs, customer interaction as well as responsive attitude allowed them to gain traction which would not have been possible had they chosen some other form of the marketing process. Their use of social media and their unique approach allowed them to build value to their brand which is now considered to be a viral sensation. The use clever tactics such as special festival coffee cups combined with the promotions they run allow them to connect better with their customers, providing them the advantage to create the loyalty, soft-entertainment, and value, can be considered to be exceptional.
I liked the strategy because it makes use of the current medium of how people connect with others as well as how well they leveraged the social trends followed by the population of interest in order to build the required values for their customers.
