I am trying to answer a question that is asking why there was no evidence of malnutrition in the kids from the BNS (Barbados National Study) study after one year. These kids endured severe malnutrition in their first year of life, and the study has been following them for decades. Aggressive and other unfavorable behavior came up around pre adolescent and adolescent ages. But, the question I need to answer is why there was no evidence of malnutrition after their first year? And in conjunction with that, is the damage from malnutrition in their first year irreversible?
