Answer #1

1. ) As we know that food what we are eating all is going to digest in the stomach. The pH of stomach falls gradually upto deep. So enviornment gets acidic.

Now how cells manage these conditions?

Parietal cells layers relaesed HCl in the stomach and creates lower pH environment.

But on the other hand,

Epithelial layer :-- These kind of cells are constantly releasing bicarbonate solutions which is of alkaline type and engaged in neutralizing acidic environment. So This is the way that how they manage these conditions.

2.) Digestion :-- Catabolization of complexed food components like starch and proteins into its simpler units or monomers.

Now here when we eat food then we have process as given below:--

Carbohydrate :-- Starch, galctose, mannose etc. Carbohydrates are digested only in mouth(Saliva has Ptyaline enzyme) and intestine(Pancreatic alpha amylase).

Proteins are digested only in stomach(Enzymes :--Pepsin) and Enzymes :-trypsin, chymotrypsin by pancreas in intestine

Fats are digested in intestine only. Bile is here emulsify the fats and Lipase from pancreatic origin.

So It was the detailes about enzymes and organs getting involved in this process.
