The immigrants high numbers in California are largely due to secondary migration.These places are magnets for migrants since there is warmer climate and job oppurtunities for fishing,agriculture are higher.Immigrants settled in California communities were there are already Chineese and Japanese.The other aspect is that it is easy for them to resettle in areas where it is friendly as well as less prone to discriminations.The real issue was that the population growth will slow as second migrants have smaller families than their parents.
