Network devices need software to make them operate. We commonly associate this with either Windows or Linux or Mac iOS. But in IoT, what software makes these devices tick? Explain.

IoT software:

• Internet of Things(IoT) consists of complex devices and to understand them we need to know what does an IoT device consists of. So, talking about IoT devices they consist of three parts which make up to the core.
• These three parts functions in a serial way from which one will perform a function which will send or receive data. The second one will have a network connection such as WiFi or Bluetooth, etc.
• The last will have a backend database or the website manager which will be managing the data of the device from a website or application whatsoever.
• Let it be connected to any number of devices but the heart of the connected devices lies in the microcontroller which is being used as a tiny computer that will be programmed to control the device.
• One of the most popular and easy-to-use microcontrollers for the prototyping of an IoT device in Adruino which is open source and can be used easily to handle small IoT operations easily.
• This can be easily handled with more powerful microcontrollers such as the Raspberry Pi, etc. they are being used for more complicated projects in the IoT.

Hence, this is how the IoT devices tick and this is how the prototype of an IoT device can be like.
