Dear Student ,

As per the requirement submitted above , kindly find the below solution.

1. stored procedures :

  • Stored procedure is a small sub program.
  • Stored procedure is written to do a specific task when they are executed.
  • Stored procedure is precompiled and will be stored in the database.
  • When stored procedure is executed it will execute directly because compilation is already done.
  • Recompilation of stored procedure will not be done.
  • Stored procedure will compile once and executed any number of times.
  • Stored procedure will not have a return type and will not return value.

2.purpose do stored procedures serve :

  • As stored procedure is already compiled and every time it executes so it will improve performance.
  • Also response time will be reduced.
  • Stored procedure are more secure then normal query.

3.advantages of stored procedures :

  • More secure.
  • As stored procedures are precompiled , hence stored procedure cached on the server.
  • In case of testing easy to test and these stored procedure can be tested without application that is GUI.

4.disadvantages of stored procedures :

  • In some cases if any exception is occured in the stored procedure then it can not be handled. There is possibility it can be generated at runtime.
  • Stored procedure consumes more memory because stored and executed in database.

5.CRUD :

  • C stands for CREATE
  • R stands for READ
  • U stands for UPDATE
  • D stands for DELETE.
