Sepsis is defined as life-threatening dysfunction of the organs due to dysregulated host response to infection. Sepsis is characterized by the simultaneous activation of inflammation and coagulation in response to microbial insult.

For the treatment of the septic shock, intravenous antibiotic are recommended for the inhibition of infection causes due to microbes. So, from the given options, the oral antibiotics will be preferred among other options for the treatment of septic shock.

5. Answer is: c. Cancer

Natural killer (NK) cells are effector lymphocytes of the innate immune system and play major role in the host rejection of both tumors and virus infected cells. They have role in control of cancer metastasis. Therefore, any drug that improve the NK cells function would be effective against cancer.
