Answer #1

Solution:-

Ionisation of Acid

Dissociation of Acid

1. Defination:- Ionisation is the process by which atom or molecule get a positive charge or negative charge.

1. Defination:- Dissociation is the breakdown of a substance into smaller particle such as atoms, ions or molecules.

2. Occurs when an atom or a molecule gains or loose an electron

2 Occurs with addition of solvent and the addition of energy in the form of heat.

3. It will always forms ions in the end

3 It will forms atoms , ions or molecules that are smaller tham the initial material

4. In this formation of ion occurs

4 Formation of small constituent from large compound.

* From above comparison we can say that dissociation of acid are ionisation but all ionisation of acid are not dissociation
