Answer #1

The answer is- false

In gram negative bacteria transfer of things dose not take place across the cell membrane.

Gram negative bacteria transfer polysaccharide and lipid from cytoplasm to periplasm. Periplasm is the the gel like substance present in between inner cytoplasmic membrane and the outer cytoplasmic membrane.

So in gram negative bacteria transfer dose not occur through the cell membrane.

ABC transporter can hydrolysis ATP to facilitate import and export. It acts as a pump.

Question 2 Which of the following best describes how both symport and antiport transporters move two different types of molecules? They move two molecule types down both of their electrochemical gradients. They move two molecule types up both of their electrochemical gradients. They move one molecule type up and one down their electrochemical gradients. They move two molecule types into the cytosol. They move two molecule types out of the cell. They use ATP to power active transport. Question 3...

    34. Why do children under 6 months of age, in developing countries, rarely suffer from malnutrition? Children do not require as many different nutrients at that young age. They have adequate food from their family's farm during this period of their life. They are breast fed, and their mother's milk provides all required nutrition. They have not been alive long enough for malnourishment to occur. Most cultures in developing countries have the custom of providing scarce food to infants before...
