Thanks so much
Information has become an important resource for contemporary organization management. This is because the current company climate is unstable, vibrant, turbulent and requires the burgeoning demand for precise, relevant, comprehensive, timely and economical data required to drive the decision-making process to accentuate organisational capacity to handle possibilities and threats. MIS works with an average processing speed on internet mode. In general, low-level leadership is used. Decision support system is a strong instrument that helps business executives, administrators and other senior officials make decisions about the issue.Management Information Systems is a useful tool that provided organized and summarized information in a proper time to decision makers and enable making accurate decision for managers in organizations
It is a collection of features for information processing. As quilt as they arrive, it should manage queries. Database is an significant component of the management information system. They help greater management in making long-term choices in the decision support system. These types of systems deal with unstructured or semi-structured decision-making. A decision is considered unstructured if there is no clear decision-making procedure and if not all the factor to be considered in the decision can be readily identified beforehand. These are not of recurrent nature in the decision support scheme. Some uncommonly recur or happen only once. A support scheme for decision-making must be very flexible. The user should be able to produce customized reports by giving particular data and format specific to particular situations.
In the organisation, the MIS performs precisely the same role. The scheme guarantees that adequate information are gathered from the different sources, processed and forwarded to all the desperate locations. The system is expected to fulfill the information needs of an individual, a group of individuals, the management functionaries: the managers and top management.
The MIS supports strategic planning, control of leadership, operational control and processing of transactions. The MIS assists in the transaction processing of clerical personnel and responds to queries on transaction data, the status of a specific record and reference on a variety of papers.
The effect of MIS on the tasks is becoming more effective in its leadership with a strong MIS supporting marketing, finance, manufacturing and staff management. It becomes simple to track and monitor the functional objectives. The functional directors are notified of advancement, accomplishments and shortcomings in the operation and goals. By offering certain data showing and likely trends in the different parts of company, the manager is kept alert. This enables with forecasting and long-term planning of perspectives. The manager's attention is drawn to a condition of nature that is supposed to induce him to take action or a decision on the matter
