Having a design for a web site for any of the system or organization should follow some of the best principles which are as follows:

1) The design should be simple and over designing of the website might lead to ineffective web pattern design. A clean and fresh design pattern helps the user to use and also to navigate around the page

2) Having consistency in the design pattern is much needed as it seeks the attention of the user to the matching design elements, to button style, headings, fonts, sizes, etc

3) The text being used or the styling being used should be readable hence one should make attempts to keep the typography visually more appealing and have it readable to the visitor.

4) As this is the era where mobile computing is highly used hence having the website being designed with mobile compatibility would help in fetching much acceptance and response

5) The combination of color and imagery should be kept clear else it would lead to distractions. This gives a balanced look to the website

6) The page should have easy loading and should be fast in downloading hence proper coding and optimization are needed to reduce the request and enhance the speed of page loading

7) There should be easy navigation across the pages

8) A web page should have important information, customer service calling number of email address, and feedback form/forum for better communication with the customer.
