Snowflake schema is a variant of starflake. Snowflake schema genrally has a central table and it is connected to multiple dimensions. In this dimensions are present in a normalized form in multiple related tables.
Advantages of it are
1. Uses small disk space
2. Easy to implement dimension is added to schema.
3. There are multiple tables, so performace is reduced.
