Morphological data refer to the data obtained from the shape, size and structure of the organism. The more is the resemblance between these data, more is the similarity between the organism. Therefore, according to the phylogenetic classification or evolutionary hypothesis, they could have arise from same ancestral and so belong to the same clade in the phylogenetic tree.
