for(i=0;i<100;i++) fprintf(fp, "%c", 'b');
fprintf(fp, "\n");

for(i=0;i<100;i++) fprintf(fp, "%c", 'c');
fprintf(fp, "\n");

fgets(s,10,fp);
printf("%s\n",s);
fgets(s,40,fp);

Answer #1

fp=fopen("text.txt","r");

This is use to open the file in read mode

/*---------------------------------------------------*/

for(i=0;i<100;i++) fprintf(fp,"%c",'a');
fprintf(fp, "\n");

This is use to write a character (upto 100) in file

/*---------------------------------------------------*/

fgets(s,10,fp);
printf("%s\n",s);

This is use to get 10 character from file and store in "s" char array anb print them

fclose(fp);

This is use to close the FILE

So Basically program is used to write character in FILE and read some of character from them and print it

    The program is done in C. This program opens a file containing binary or text and reads every byte in the file and writes both the ASCII hex value for that byte as well as it’s printable (human-readable) character (characters, digits, symbols) to standard output. The issue I am having is when the file has multiple lines being read. The first line is read and done properly but the other lines do not work correctly. For instance, the text file...

Here, you will read and write from/to the files line by line with the help of fgets() and fputs() functions. Sample file “original.dat” has been provided.
