By using Face Negotiation Theory i am analyzing a conflict .

Face Negotiation Theory explains that saving face in conflict situations according to the circumstances . Face means identity and personality .

I have experienced a scenario in which face negotiation theory was used . I am an american and i work in a Korean multinational based in america , i belong to american individualist culture but my manager belongs to Korean collectivist culture, so , i face a conflict of interest in behavior as my manager values teamwork more than individual performance so , i need to work as a team player in this company .

So , i experienced  that cultures are divided into individualist and collectivist .When working with different cultured people we should learn to save our own face and other face too .
