1. Vygotsky believed that the child is a social being, and cognitive development is led by social interactions. Piaget, on the other hand, felt that the child was more independent and that development was guided by self-centered, focused activities.Vygotsky focuses more on being open to learn from others whereas Piaget focuses more on concrete operational thought as a sudden stage.
2. I would personally benefit from Vygotsky's theory as it would be more relatable and allow us to have a view that we learnt from teh surroundings and this is what shapes us to who we are and what we wish to do. This is a really crucial phase which teaches us so much that we know. We need to know that no matter where life goes, we shall always be there, learning at each step, every decision we take and all the hurdles we have to cross to reach to that level at large.
