How do we determine Abnormality? Please provide an example to illustrate your understanding.

People who are deviated from normal behavior called Abnormal people. It could be either positive or negative. But psychology concerns most of the times the negative direction of abnormality because this negative direction causes psychological disorders. Those psychological disorders are the challenges for psychologists. Abnormality has some symptoms. By seeing those symptoms in a person we can determine Abnormality. Those are

• Abnormal people like to live in a created world by their mind with imaginations, unrealistic thoughts, expectations, hallucinations, etc.
• Their reactions and situations have no connection.
• Their speeches contain no meaning at all.
• They will experience irrelated anxiety, depression, etc.

Example: My friend has failed in his academic exams. In the beginning, He experienced a lot of anxiety and depression because of that. After that, he was telling that he had passed all the exams. Whatever we were discussing he was talking about his exams. If anybody disturbed him he will get angry at him. By and by, his speeches and situations have no connection. Then the psychologist concluded that he was suffering from the abnormality.

How do we determine Normality? Please provide an example to illustrate your understanding.

Normality is a very natural behavior. People who just understand situations and respond according to those situations called Normal people that behavior is called Normality. We can determine normality by considering some factors that are

• Normal people are very cool.
• Normal people respond according to the situation.
• Normal people use their existed knowledge according place and time.

These are the qualities of Normality.

Example: Barak Obama has Normality. Because he always speaks accurately. He takes decisions which are needed for that situation. After seeing him, I have come to that conclusion about normality.
