As a manager, the very effective ways of ensuring that you make an increase in the job satisfaction in your employees are as below

  1. You will endeavor to be rewarding the employees of your organization. By endeavoring to reward your employees, they will feel a sense of recognition that is given to them on their respective lines of works. For example, when an employee does well in their area of work by using a unique input to perform the tasks, you as a manager, the best way to make them feel satisfied in the job is to recognize their inputs and then rewards that input thy brought. By doing this, that employee will be forever satisfied with the job.
  2. You can use the way of training and developing your employees skills. There are instances when you do not want to go for new employees but would resort to training the existing ones and then impact in them the right skills that you needed in the job . By doing this, the employees will feel satisfied by the job and will always endeavor to work for you and under you due to the training and development that you schedule on them.
  3. You can also use the way of ensuring a very conducive work environment. By doing this, you as the manager will ensure that your employees are feeling comfortable when they work and this will elevate their level of satisfaction with the job that they do.

When there are high or low levels of job satisfaction, the following can be the organization consequences.

  1. For a high job satisfaction, the organization will have positive consequence in that there would be more inputs that are brought forth by the employees in their respective areas of work and this would mean that the organization will grow and be sustained with the industrious employees.
  2. For a low job satisfaction, definitely it would attract a negative consequence in that the employees would feel demotivated and less enthusiastic in performing their respective duties. We know that whenever there is less enthusiasm in the employees, the organization deteriorates in growth and does not perform in maximum
  3. For a high job satisfaction, it will give the organization a standing edge in the industry as it would attract more workforce and the organization might deem it fit to choose on the best. This will increase the level of organization performance in the industry and the goodwill.
  4. For a low job satisfaction, the organization would be left in isolation as the employees will be looking for better organizations where there is better job satisfaction to the employees. When an employee leaves the organization, more so the employees who are hard working, the organization would be doomed.
