1) misunderstanding and misinterpretation of the requirements: Sometimes it happens that the person do not understand the requirement given by the client. misunderstanding and misinterpretation are very critical which may lead to big problems in the future like even changing the functionality.

2) lack of adequate user involvement: Sometimes the user of the product does not show much involvement which may lead to problems faced by final users of the product.

3) changing scope: This is the major objections in which the scope of the users' changes that is the whole requirement engineering process will change.

(b) Projects in small systems are usually due to by technology changes example, new operating, new hardware, new features to be added to the existing system. Thus, Requirements sources are customers and users, observation of the market, and inhouse domain experts. Thus in a small system requirements engineering is done with behalf of end users.
