It is believed that, all over the world, more and more organisations are welcoming digital

technologies. However, despite widespread efforts to capitalise on the digitalisation process,

few companies can actually boast of concrete results. There is an emerging strand of literature

that assigns success or failure of the digitalisation process to organisational leadership. They

further postulate that, in addition, organisational innovativeness is also widely considered as a

critical source of competitive advantage in the contemporary changing environment.

Read the above statement and discuss how digitalisation and innovation force strategic leaders

not only to seek to improve specific areas of organisational work but sometimes to find new

ways of conducting operations and delivering services.

The increase use of technology leading the leaders to digitize their leadership style and force them to make business improvements in all business areas not only one . These strategic leaders uses technology in organization to make work more effective so that they can cut down the cost and improve the performance of employees as well organizations. Organizational and leadership theory suggests that there are some important areas without addressing which organizations are unlikely to have the desired results of digital transformation. It starts from formulating clear goals and objectives of digital transformation. Leaders must establish what they expect to achieve with digitalization, where, and how. On the basis of this knowledge, careful framework and mapping of the process should be established. Leaders must possess digital acumen and develop digital imperative which involves a clear vision and the ways to engage everyone in the process. Successful leaders are able to align organizational members around the common goals and vision, empower them for action and coordinate the efforts by being engaged and offering rewards. Just as important is to embrace obstacles and challenges of digital transformation. Successful leaders do not treat them as reasons for failure; rather, they consider them as an additional source of knowledge and take special pride in overcoming them.

Using creative digital solutions gives you a competitive edge in your business world and a proper digitalization plan can help reinvent processes, improve quality and promote consistency.

Combining insight and technology from the beginning serves to guide teams of business leaders and tech engineers to address the needs of the consumer.

Once these foundations are laid, as with any business, these consumer demands need to be monitored and taken for the duration of the business lifespan. A better understanding within the team will automatically attract more consumers. To cater to the demands of the consumer, the inside team should be able to analyze the requirements and also their own ability
