Sexual dimorphism is the condition in which the two genders of a same species express systematic differences other than their reproductive organs.

The sexual dimorphism between males and females of humans is not much massive.

In the case of some spiders, the female is much bigger in size than the male.

The peacocks have a very interesting sexual dimorphism, the males have massive feather trains, that is attractive and colourful. Females prefer males with larger size and more colourful feather trains.

The primary purpose of sexual dimorphism is in the attraction and reproduction.

In insects, females are larger than males in size inorder to carry more eggs.
