What is the difference in an open-ended question and a closed-ended question? When would it be more appropriate to use a closed-ended question and when would it be best to use open-ended questions? Give me specific examples of both.

Difference between an open ended and closed ended questions are as follows:-

Open ended questions are those questions which require more than a one word answer or which require more thought and explanation. Example:- what happened at the meeting with your friend? It takes more time to answer ( time consuming). Not much fast answer. More complicated Provide detailed information	Closed ended questions are those questions which require only one word answer which can as simple as "yes" or "no". Example:- Did you have a good meeting with your friend? Takes less time to answer. Fast answer. Less complicated. It doesn't provide detailed information.

Appropriate time to use both open ended and closed ended questions are as follows:-
