In business world, cultural differences plays significant importance in success of an organization to a particular business or in a specific country. The following cultural features may influence wester culture in a negotiation setting:

1) Communication:

In western culture, people believe in direct communication methods. In rest of world like China , India and other places people negotiate through informal meetings and other agenda.  

2) Emotional attributes:

People in western culture have  higher emotional stability. It helps in decision making and taking particular treatment to the stakeholders. A healthy relationships can be helpful in negotiating with parties.

3) Sensitivity to time management:

People at American culture respect time of others . They always maintain sound time management and people avoid late coming at offices and workplace. while making a negotiation, Parties usually meet at the predecided date , time and place.

4) Attitude of negotiators:

American negotiators are positive into their attitude toward making or closing a deal. They want to come atleast some gain to their negotiating efforts.

5) Bringing benefits and involvement to all people:

Most of organizational or other negotiators in USA , try to bring benefits to end users or people working at the bottom of the organization. In this way, win win situations will be achieved .
