# This function repeatedly prompts for input until a
float is entered.
# See Point 2 of the "Functions in admin.py" section of the
assignment brief.

I have 6 fruits with nutritional information and i want them to be able to be a float e.g.
fibre: 2.4
Vitamin c: 3.6
ETC
how do i write the code for this? any help would be appreciated
Thank you!

Here, i have taken user input as string, and checked if it is a
valid float. All integers are considered as valid floats with
decimal part as 0. If you do not want that behavior, then you
should check the user string to contain the decimal also. you can
do like below:
if '.' in inp
================
Code:
def inputFloat(prompt):
while True:
inp = input(prompt)
try:
value = float(inp)
return value
except:
print('Invalid value entered. Try again')
print('you entered', inputFloat('Enter a float: '))
let me know if any issues.

Python 3 coding with AWS/Ide. Objective: The purpose of this lab is for you to become familiar with Python’s built-in text container -- class str-- and lists containing multiple strings. One of the advantages of the str class is that, to the programmer, strings in your code may be treated in a manner that is similar to how numbers are treated. Just like ints, floats, a string object (i.e., variable) may be initialized with a literal value or the contents...
This needs to be written in Python. I'm writing this but I'd love to see how others would do it. I have idea to make a program to keep track of reading. Set goal per day. Input minutes per day & book read. Could accumulate for whole month. Input daily, but you can input it all at the end of the week if you want. I want the user to be prompted to enter a numerical value and book for...
Needs to be done in visual studio. I keep having problems with
making my own function to call for the statistics and the random
number generator. they are both supposed to be separate functions
from the main. Can anyone help? Language is C
Overview: This third programming assignment will be the first to require the use of arrays. Like the second program, this program will be modular and make use of functions (including, this time, functions which process arrays). Brief...
I wrote a program which computes the area and perimeter of a square, circle, or rectangle. As you will see in my main function, there is a for loop in which the user is supposed to be able repeat the program until they enter "q" to quit. However, my program runs through one time, the prompt appears again, but then it terminates before the user is allowed to respond to the prompt again. I'm not able to debug why this...
please
there are some specific instructions on the question so i would
greatly appreciate if they are followed . thank you very much for
your time
This lab covers: arrays functions input exception handling Question 1 The purpose of this question is to write a python program (script) that manipulates arrays using vector arithmetic. You will compute the values of points The ellipse has a major axis whose length is a and a minor axis whose length is b. For...

For a C program hangman game: Create the function int play_game [play_game ( Game *g )] for a C program hangman game. (The existing code for other functions and the program is below, along with what the function needs to do) (Also the link to program files (hangman.h and library file) is below the existing code section. You can use that to check if the code works) What int play_game needs to do mostly involves calling other functions you've already...
6.15 Program 6: Using Arrays to Count Letters in Text 1. Introduction In this program, you will practice working with arrays. Your program will read lines of text from the keyboard and use an array to track the number of times each letter occurs in the input text. You will use the contents of this array to generate a histogram (bar graph) indicating the relative frequencies of each letter entered. Test cases are available in this document. Remember, in addition...
Hello I need help with this program. Should programmed in C!
Program 2: Sorting with Pointers Sometimes we're given an array of data that we need to be able to view in sorted order while leaving the original order unchanged. In such cases we could sort the data set, but then we would lose the information contained in the original order. We need a better solution. One solution might be to create a duplicate of the data set, perhaps make...
Task The task for this assignment is to have the following user-defined data type: struct rgb { unsigned char red; unsigned char green; unsigned char blue; }; be able to be: read in from a stream (e.g., std::cin), i.e., write: std::istream& operator >>(std::istream& is, rgb& colour); (see below) written out to a stream (e.g., std::cout), i.e., write: std::ostream& operator <<(std::ostream& os, rgb const& colour); (see below) stored in a container, e.g., std::vector<rgb>, std::array<rgb,16>; (see below) processed via algorithms (and other...
