Leadership is very important topic i have learned in this course because project management is not possible without effective leadership. successful projects require effective leadership otherwise project manager will not be able to handle and lead thier team towards success. If i work as project manager in future then i would focus on using this knowledge and develop my leadership skills which i have studied in this course.

I know that a leader require certain qualities, skills and traits. these skills like self leadership, participative leadership,empowerment, Communication,problem solver,Inspiring and encouragin. These skills makes a project manager successfully lead his team.

Self leadership means first project manager must be able to manage himself like managing their time, work, roles and responsibilities. this is like lead by example. if they are able to manage themselves then other team members will learn from them.

participative leadership where we learn that leader is nothing without their followers so participative leader must bring team members in issues and discuss with them. take their opinion and views to make decision. this helps to create value, loyalty and good relationship with employees.

Paticipative leadership leads to empowerment because when you involve team members in decision making then employees feel empowered and some position in project.

other skills i want to add that project manager as leader must be able to communicate effectively like speak while listening to others as well. Project manager must motivate his team members to show high performance and encourage them to achieve thier targets.
