1. False statement. Most species exhibit logistic growth as the resources are finite in amount whereas while exhibiting exponential growth assumes that there is infinite amount of resources which is not a realistic scenario.

2. D is the right answer. According to the 10 per cent rule, the pest would get 10,000cal/m2/year whereas the predator which feeds on the pest would get only 1,000 cal/m2/year according to the same rule. The ten percent rule states that there is only 10 percent efficiency in transfer of energy from one tropic level to another.

3. C is the right answer. A community is a ecosystem where all the species co-exist together in a habitat and utilise same resources.
