Answer #1

Answer- A. Mature sporophyte and nutritive tissue

Explanation-

1. Seed contains seed coat, endosperm and embryo.

2. The seed coat is made from diploid tissue from diploid parent plant.

3. Endosperm is nutritive tissue present in seed that is mostly triploid. In endospermic seed, endosperm surrounds the embryo and provides nutrition to developing embryo by providing starch mainly and it also contains oil and proteins.

4. Embryo is mature sporophyte. When Male gamete (haploid sperm) and female gamete (haploid egg) fuses it produces zygote and then zygote develops into multicellular sporophyte.

5. So that seed contains mature sporophyte and nutritive tissue. Male and female gametophyte are present in flower.
