Sponges are belong to phylum porifera. They are multicellular organisms called metazoans. Inspite of multicellular oganism they don't have true tissues; tissue differentiation is prtial in sponges. Tissues are group of similar type of cells. sponges lack any type of tissue grade of orgnization

Internal organs are absent in Sponges. Sponges have common ancestory as anials that's why they called as the sister group of animals.
