Enforcing safety guidelines and exposure control in order to mitigate occupational hazards and to ensure workers' safety and health is not just a legal requirement for organizations but also a moral responsibility. Occupational hazards may include physical hazards like workplace violence, biological hazards like communicable diseases, psychological issues of works like mental stress and poor work-life balance, ergonomics issues as well as accidents. Hence, the goal of the organization should always be to develop standards and procedures to safeguards its workforce from such hazards.
