Explain Davis and Moore's perspective on inequality.
Davis and Moore both are the sociologists which believed in the importance of standard in the living society. Behind the sociology inequality, they estate that " Rich son will be richer, and a poor one will be poor" which creates an unequal distribution in the society.
They estate that to maintain society in the equilibrium condition there must be some flow of work which can not be done by the elite class persons.
For Example:- Cleaning roads, collecting garbages, serving food and tea these are the work which is supposed to do by lower class persons.
Whereas upper-class person or elite class person can do complicated work, surgeries or the work in which intelligence is recommended. They can perform a difficult task too.
In their views, talented are the only ones who come from the upper-class society and they are in limited numbers of individuals.
