Br2 (l) + 2e- --> 2 Br- (aq) electrode potential = +1.08 V

2F- (aq) --> F2(l) + 2e- electrode potential = +2.67 V

2H2O (l) --> O2(g) + 4H+(aq) + 4e-  electrode potential = -1.77 V

standard electrode potential is the potential of electrode when all the solute are at 1M and gases are at 1 atm.

we know for spontaneous reaction the emf of cell i.e E should be greater than zero i.e E>0

E cell= E cathode -E anode

the more the positive E the more is tendency to get reduced ,while more negative emf value the more tendency of oxidation ., hence spontaneous reaction is possible by pairing both the half reaction given
