Workers join unions, because unions provided collective bargain benefits, protection to the rights of the employee in the organization and the proper support and guidance to the employee against any authoritative and one sided action taken up by the organization. So, employees feel to be safe and protected.
Workers don't join unions, because unions demand unnecessary fees and share from the salary & wages, force the employee to participate strikes, and similar action and support their unusual demand to the management. Further, employees with superior skills, can get higher amount of compensation that may not be possible if he is the union member. So, they do not join the union.
