In what ways does looking through the history lens enhance your understanding of the role of technology in society? Consider a current event in the news that has a historical counterpart.
How does looking through the history lens influence how you perceive both the current and historical events? Please share a news link to your events.
How does analyzing the relationship between history, culture, and technology have an influence on your discipline of study or chosen profession?
ans) In my opinion history allow us to know about the rich influence or impact of technology on us, lets take an example to prove our point right, if i talk about the stone age then at that time we dont have ways to get vision in nights, then by the luck we invented fire, which help us to get the vision in night as well as protect us from wild creature and after several year in future we discover light which is the biggest inventions that solves many problems and make our lives easier. In the earlier years when we dont have the Internet we used to send letters which took a lot of time to reach to the destination and then invention of email happens and now we send the mails in less then a min which is incredible, so from these incidents we came to know that history tell us about the difficulties we had faces and how technology or inventions help us to get rid of that difficulties but one thing which i am concern about is when technology is not there, people live more happily and lives together but after discoveries and inventions and increasing usage of technology we not separate out but harm nature also.
HISTORY, CULTURE and TECHNOLOGY all are the fundamentals of human life without culture we are nothing and our culture is our history and we lives in the technological where new technology forms or invents day by day. In my opinion What we do today become history one day. Technology play a very vital role on discipline of study because by the misusage of technology we ruin our studies likes now days students indulge in mobile activities like playing games and all, waste there time in those kind of activities instead of studying but on the other hand Technology helps student to learn more things by the help of internet without going anywhere which saves their time, likewise a coin have two side, technology has also two sides negative as well as positive, if we are using everything in a limited way then it will definetly help us in growing.
