PRINCE2
Is the initiation plan included in the project plan of the PID? Also when describing a high level timeline of the project is the initiation stage plan included?
Project Initiation Document (PID) is a significant tool used in project management. It plays a role of a foundation stone or base in any project. The initiation plan is not included in the project plan of the PID.
To satisfy various project needs, PRINCE2 has three planning levels. These levels are the project plan, the stage plan and the team plan. In stage plan distinction can be made for initiation stage and management stages for implementing project. In-fact project plan is prepared in the initiation stage and after approval from project board it becomes the part of PID.
The initiation stage plan is prepared at the end of the initiation stage. Therefore, even while describing a high level timeline of the project the initiation stage plan is included at the Stage plan level.

mapped on a timeline and to be sure the project team has the
appropriate members with the right skills to ensure a successful
program. Using a case study from the text, students will
demonstrate their ability to review and evaluate a performance
improvement program by arranging the...
