Do you believe employers/professors should be concerned with their employees'/students' work/life balance (or accommodating, to some degree, their "lifestyle")? Why or why not?
Yes, I believe employers/professors should be concerned with their employees'/students' work or life balance. It is because when employees or students devote themselves to their employers or professors, it is the responsibility of the employers or professors to ensure that the employees or students are happy and engaged in the things they subscribed to. It is a dual relationship where both parties get benefitted from each other. When employees achieve their targets, it automatically benefits the employer. Similarly, when a student excels in his career, it brings praise and honor to the professor as well. And in the absence of this relationship of giving back to each other in terms of concern for their work, life, career, it brings disappointment not only to employees and students but to employer and professor as well. Therefore, it is necessary that employers and professors take care of the concern of their employees and students respectively.
