Answer #1

Naegleria fowleri is found in the freshwater and lives by feeding bacteria which enters into the human body through the nasal cavity during water related activity, such as swimming via the auditory nerve, to the brain in the stage of trophozoites. Trophozoites has a granular appearance and a single nucleus to infect human brain. This brain infection results in Primary Amebic Meningoencephalitis.

Naegleria fowleri trophozoites are found in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and tissue while flagellated forms are occasionally found in CSF.  But when the environment is not favorable to the ameba or flagellate that means the temperature and food is not available according to its need fro survival for living then it takes the form of a cyst that is the first stage of the life cycle of Naegleria fowleri.
