1) A change agent is one who facilitates change in a person or an organization. One of the example of a change agent in out organization includes a nurse who brought about the need for handrubs on every station side in the hospital in order to prevent infection. Another case was when a nurse brought about awareness classes for the group and helped to change common mistakes that occur in IV administration.

2) During both these processes , the authorities were approached and the initiative to bring about a positive change was emphasised. In this situation, other members in a group we're encouraged to follow the lead and helped them gain awareness regarding various misconceptions . This led to the formulation of newed techniques and interventions which inturn improved the quality of practice.
